Account information. When you create a SEER account, we collect your email address, a display name, and a year of birth (used only to confirm you are 13 or older). This is used to authenticate you and sync your study data across devices.
Study data. Bookmarks, highlights, notes, tags, and reading history are stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in, synced to our secure database so your library is available on all your devices.
Device token (optional). If you opt in to push notifications, we store an Expo push token associated with your account. This is used only to deliver notifications you have requested. You can revoke this at any time in Account > Settings > Push Notifications.
Subscription receipts. If you purchase a Seeker or Gatherer subscription, your purchase receipt is processed by RevenueCat and Apple to determine your entitlement. We never see your payment details.
Crash diagnostics (optional). If you opt in to anonymous diagnostics, basic crash and performance data is sent to Sentry. No personally identifying information is included.
Usage analytics (optional). If you opt in to anonymous analytics, basic interaction events (e.g., "user opened ABEL," "user purchased Seeker") are sent to PostHog. No message content, scripture text, or notes are ever included.
Oraqel Code birthday. If you enter a birthday to generate your Oraqel Code, this is stored only on your device in local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers.
Profile photo. If you upload a profile photo, it is stored as a local file on your device only. It is not uploaded to any server.

All third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies. Each service receives only the data necessary to perform its function.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Account > Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile, notes, highlights, and all associated data from our servers within 30 days. Crash diagnostics and analytics events are retained for up to 90 days and then permanently aggregated.
SEER is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The sign-up flow asks for a year of birth and refuses to create accounts for users who would be under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through SEER, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete that information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
